Patchwork Banners made by Frank Schwiemann, Verdun 1995.
Frank is well known for his patchwork stuff. Some nice examples
are the banners shown above. The position of the black bars in the
banners varies in a planned manner.

Playsail made in patchwork technique by Frank, Verdun,
1995.
Another example of the nice patchwork technique is Frank's
playsail. Together with the arch above it really looks beautiful.
Frank (in the middle of the sail) gives advice to spectators flying
the playsail. It was a lot of fun!

Frank's Spinbowl and Willi Koch's
Parasled with line-junk together on one picture.

New banners of Frank. I really like them, in particular the
simplicity of them.

Some big new bowls with high contrast design.

A triptichon of kites with an interesting design.
As funny as it is, Frank only lived 30 minutes away from me in
Duesseldorf in Germany (I was in Muelheim), but we met for the
first time face-to-face in Verdun, 1995. We had a good time! Frank
is very well known as an excellent kite artist. His patchwork
kites, banners and playsails gain especially great attention. His
Yakko-Bee kites are also well known.
