Scientific Interests

Summary of current research interests
A review written by us (Secondary structure of proteins in the amorphous dehydrated state probed by FTIR spectroscopy. Dehydration-induced structural changes and their prevention. Kai Griebenow*, Angelica M. Santos, and Karen G. Carrasquillo) is now available on the Internet at the Internet Journal of Vibrational Spectroscopy (IJVS).
Another review written by us (Application of FTIR spectroscopy to probe and improve protein structure in sustained release devices. Kai Griebenow*, Ingrid Castellanos and Karen G. Carrasquillo) is now also available on the internet at the Internet Jornal of Vibrational Spectroscopy (IJVS). This IJVS issue was edited by myself and contains a collection of very interesting articles on vibrational spectroscopy applications in biological systems.
Protein design.
