Image of Paul Lawrence

I know Paul Lawrence since 1993 when I stayed for the first time in Boston, Massachusetts. He is member of Kites Over New England and other organizations. Paul is one of the best New England kitemakers. He demonstrated this in 1993 at the Smithsonian kite festival where his Seven Sisters Box Kite won the category and also the overall award in the age-group! I will try to get a good photo of that kite. Paul also won awards at the Newport Kite Festival.

Recently Paul is into making arches and linejunk:

Two Arches of Paul Lawrence at the Verdun Kite Festival 1995 .

Nahant Beach Display

Paul most beloved flying sport is Nahant Beach (where I also fly once in a while). The image shows a normal Paul setup at any given day: spinners, balls, arches. I think the left arch and some of the line junk is belonging to Ronny, another member of the local kite gang.

Nahant Beach Display. The irish arch belongs to Paul.
